Being a German based company, they often carry German made products, but during German week they have quite a few extra special food items. Many of their German products are great quality, especially the chocolate kind (which, fortunately, they have year round). I just wanted to share with you a quick, delicious meal made with Aldi&#8217;s Bavarian Bratwurst, German Style Sauerkraut, Bavarian Sweet Mustard and fresh apples.&nbsp; Ingredient quantities are flexible.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/susanscookingschool.com\/store\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/bratwurst-sauerkraut.jpg\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" border=\"0\" src=\"https:\/\/susanscookingschool.com\/store\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/bratwurst-sauerkraut.jpg\" height=\"267\" width=\"320\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<ol><\/ol>\n<h4><b>Bavarian Bratwurst with Sauerkraut and Apples <\/b><\/h4>\n<ol>\n<li>In a fry pan over medium heat, saute about \u00bd cup chopped yellow onion in 1-2 tablespoons vegetable or olive oil, until tender and just starting to brown.<\/li>\n<li>Add 2 small apples, cut into chunks&nbsp; and continue to cook for about 2 minutes.<\/li>\n<li>Stir in 1 cup of packed sauerkraut that the juice has been squeezed out of. <\/li>\n<li>Add 2 bratwurst and cover.&nbsp; Simmer for about 5 minutes or until the bratwurst is hot throughout.<\/li>\n<li>Serve with Aldi&#8217;s Bavarian Sweet Mustard! Delish!
