We just got back from a lovely few days in Quebec City. Being a foodaholic, just about every thing we did, concerned eating.<\/p>\n

We picked a quaint bed and breakfast place to stay in, Ch\u00e2teau des Tourelles at
212 rue St-Jean -one reason being that they served a great homemade breakfast every morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

While there, I fell in love with the bakery-cafe, Paillard (Caf\u00e9-boulangerie Paillard)<\/span><\/a>, 1097, rue Saint-Jean -conveniently on the same street we stayed on, but within the walls of the old city.  I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves….<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n

There is also a large and gorgeous Farmer’s Market, Marche du Vieux-Port <\/a>de Quebec, where I saw the most beautiful leeks that I have ever seen. If only I had access to a pot and stove!<\/span>
