Hot Fudge Sauce

Super easy, creamy and delicious, hot fudge sauce!

Ingredients

Yield: approx. 8 servings
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz.)
  • 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate, broken in half
  • 5-6 oz. dark chocolate, broken into pieces
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon water

Method

  1. Heat the sweetened condensed milk in a glass bowl in the microwave (or in a sauce pan on the stove) until hot, but not boiling, stirring occasionally.
  2. Carefully remove from the microwave (or remove pan from heat) and add both chocolates. Stir until melted.
  3. Stir in extracts and add water to achieve desired consistency.
  4. If not to be immediately used, cover and refrigerate until needed. Reheat to serve. Be careful not to burn the chocolate.
